Sinergi Pelayanan Masyarakat dengan Petani Bunga di Dusun Kembangarum
Abstrak
Purpose – The purpose of this community service activity is to empower ornamental flower farmer communities through the PKK group in the Kembangarum Hamlet by utilizing vegetable waste that has not been utilized into LOF (Liquid Organic Fertilizer).
Method – Counseling is provided to the PKK member mothers who work as ornamental flower farmers. Training on LOF production is conducted starting from vegetable waste collection, fermentation, and application to green bean seeds to motivate and build participants' confidence. Documentation of the training is distributed with the distribution of LOF production training CDs to facilitate the continuity of campus team guidance and understanding.
Result – The result drawn from the empowerment activities conducted is that the ornamental flower farmer community from Kembangarum who participated in this training is ready to become LOF production trainers for flower farmers who have not had the opportunity due to various reasons.
Implication – The implication of this activity is that the ornamental flower farmers from Kembangarum are highly motivated to utilize their own LOF production. The hope of the empowered community is that the cooperation can continue with the development of packaging and marketing, making the realization of income increase from LOF more tangible.
